Alfred Hitchcock’s Cure for Insomnia
I never realized that Alfred Hitchcock had this cure for insomnia that he never shared with the public before…
Alfred Hitchcock’s Cameo Appearances
One of my favorite film directors growing up was Alfred Hitchcock. He was more commonly known as the “Master of Suspense.” He also had a weekly television series in the sixties. You could probably get all the weekly episodes on DVD now.
I know it’s probably silly, but one the the things I liked about his movies was that he always made a brief appearance in all of them. When I would watch one of his movies, I think that I found it to be more fun to look for his famous cameo appearance rather than follow the plot of the story ! (I remember that kids book, “Where’s Waldo?”) I found a web site on the internet which lists many of his appearances as well as a picture of the scene where he can be found.

Have fun !
I think Doug’s humor is rubbing off on me.

This was a good one, sis.
Does anyone remember the cartoonist, Al Hirschfield, in the Sunday Times whose specialty was drawing people in the arts? His thing was to hide his daughter’s name, NINA within the cartoon, sign his name with a number next to it indicating the number of NINAS to hunt for. Great fun. http://theater.nytimes.com/ref/theater/hirschfeld/index.html?rf=aboutnina.html |
