Poetry: The Peace of Wild Things

Laura's Blogs Posted on March 5, 2013 by LauraJanuary 24, 2022

The Peace Of Wild Things by Wendell Berry When despair for the world grows in me and I wake in the night at the least sound in fear of what my life and children’s lives may be, I go and lie down where the wood drake rests in his beauty on the water, and the great heron feeds. As such, it first introduced Western pop music fans to the … Continue reading →

The Concert For George Harrison

Laura's Blogs Posted on January 25, 2013 by LauraSeptember 6, 2014

The Concert for George was held at the Royal Albert Hall in London on 29 November 2002 as a memorial to George Harrison on the first anniversary of his death. The event was organized by Harrison’s widow, Olivia, and son, Dhani, and arranged under the musical direction of Eric Clapton and Jeff Lynne. Poetry: Love by Jalaluddin Rumi

Laura's Blogs Posted on December 26, 2012 by LauraDecember 26, 2012

Love by Jalaluddin Rumi Are you fleeing from Love because of a single humiliation? What do you know of Love except the name? The human being resembles a tree; its root is a covenant with God: that root must be cherished with all one’s might. A weak covenant is … Continue reading →
