Mike and Ray together again. It was a week of reminising and constant laughter. Visit Mike’s website and photo gallery for more great photos of the week together. These two veteran musicians are still the best of friends. Through thick and thin it is a friendship that has stood the test of time.

Mike and Tara spent a week with Ray and his new wife Lee. Lee and Tara listened to countless stories of the boyhood friends trekking across England, broke in Germany and stuck in the Ardennes, living together in London flats, hanging out with the Beatles, escapades in the recording studio, driving to gigs and finding out the gig was last year! Hilarious and heartwarming stories from two lifelong friends. And yes, Lee and Tara listened to some more than once!

Mike and Tara were so happy to be with Ray and Lee for their Wedding Reception Event. Tony and Helen Clarke were at the party too. It was a magic evening. The next day Mike and Ray sat down at the piano and entertained guests with an impromptu creation of a silly song. MB fans stay tuned.

Mellotronics and Mike

During his recent holiday in England, Mike visited Martin Smith and John Bradley of Streetly Electronics. John is the son of Les Bradley, Mike’s employer and owner of Mellotron in the 60’s. Martin, John and Mike all share a long love affair with the Tron. After checking out the Mellotron workshops and Mike doing his old job of quality control, the lads visited Martin’s local pub for quality control purposes.

Martin and John are visiting Santa Monica and Hollywood this week for the launch of the M4000. LA fans should contact them for details.

John & Martin have decided to honor Mike’s contribution to the Mellotron by producing a ‘Pindertron’ edition of their new instrument. “www.mellotonics.com“
