Poetry Wednesday: Found a Poem
Here is a poem I found while we were having a picnic at this table near Bear Moundtain, N.Y. The words were carved into the table, but it was very ledgable. The author and title of the poem is unknown.
Untitled
clouds in a sky clear enough
to allow them their form for miles
a heavenly plain I recognized
soon after the eyes of my mind
became open. Still they permit me
to see, and I admit
their irrefutablility.
