RAY THOMAS of The Moody Blues was born on 29th December 1941 in Stourport on Severn (Stourport-on-Severn, often shortened to Stourport, is a town in north of Worcestershire England). He attended the Paget Road Secondary Modern School, and later qualified as a toolmaker. I have loved The Moody Blues since I was 14 years old. I went to many shows throughout my life, although I did not see them with Mike Pinder. I got used to him not being there anymore like everyone else, but it was really a blow when Ray Thomas left. I guess it had to happen sooner or later.
