The Sedona Vortexes
For many years, people have included Sedona, Arizona in their travel plans in order to try to experience what is known as an energy vortex. Sedona is presumably one of the four key energy vortexes in the world.
After surfing the web, a definition of a vortex is this: A vortex is a high concentration of energy, a receiving station for direct influences, by definition, a state resembling a whirlpool.
According to Richard Sutphen (author), the earth is surrounded by a grid of etheric energy, with power points connected to key lines. The Sacred Sites of the Ancients, such as Stonehenge, the Pyramids, the earthworks and mounds of the American midwest were built along this grid.
Some people are fascinated with the idea that by visiting these energy points that we might tap into a higher awareness, and may even “see” the spiritual beings who guard the Sedona area.
It has been found that some people have greatly enhanced healing results and heightened conciousness in these areas, and they have also experienced specific visions. And some of these visions had striking similarities. The same images would run through the meditations of different individuals and different groups.
Basically, people in general have reported feeling renewed as far as their physical, mental, and spiritual health. Others have said their troubled relationships have been resolved. It is also interesting that some have felt the presence of spirits, and past-life visions.
